Huepick is a free iOS app for extracting colors from photos, building palettes, and transforming images with creative tools. This policy explains how we handle your information — in plain English.

The only time any data leaves your device is when an optional feature converts photo location coordinates into a readable place name — and only coordinates are ever sent.
What data we collect
Nothing. We do not collect, store, or transmit personal information of any kind. There are no user accounts and no analytics.
Your photos
When you take or select a photo, all processing — color extraction, palette generation, and creative effects — happens locally on your device. Your photos are never sent anywhere.
Photo location data (optional)
Your photos may contain GPS coordinates embedded in their metadata. If location data is present, Huepick can use Apple’s built-in geocoding service to convert those coordinates into a human-readable place name (for example, “Portland, OR”) displayed alongside your saved palette. Here’s what matters:
- Only the GPS coordinates are sent to Apple for this conversion
- No photos, no device identifiers, and no personal information are included
- This feature activates only when your photo already has location data embedded
- If your photo has no location data, no network request is made
Apple handles this data according to Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Saved palettes and creations
Palettes you save and images you process in the Playground are stored locally on your device. They never leave your device.

No other third-party services are used.
Data sharing
We do not sell, share, or rent your data to anyone. There is no data to share.

We do not request access to your live location. Location data is only read when it already exists in your photo’s embedded metadata.
Deleting your data
Since we store nothing on our servers, there is nothing to delete from our end. Any palettes or creations stored on your device can be deleted individually within the app or removed entirely by uninstalling Huepick.
Your rights
Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing held by us for you to access, correct, or export. You have complete control over everything stored locally on your own device.
Children
Huepick does not collect any information from any user, including children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). The app is safe for all ages.
International Users
Because Huepick collects no personal data, no cross-border transfer of personal information occurs. The only network request (optional geocoding of photo coordinates) sends GPS coordinates to Apple and contains no personal data or device identifiers regardless of your location.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
